This page explains what happens to your information when you visit Request Florida Records. We keep it short. If something here changes, we will update this page and the date above.

What does this site collect on its own?

Very little. You do not need an account to read this site. We do not ask for your name. The site itself does not set its own tracking cookies.

What is the “Talk to us” assistant?

The “Talk to us” button opens a voice and chat assistant. It is run by an outside company called Foyer. It is not run by this site.

If you use it, what you say or type goes to Foyer. Foyer's notice in the assistant says this site and Foyer may store chats, transcripts, and voice recordings. To use voice, your browser will ask for permission to use your microphone. You can say no and type instead, or not use the assistant at all.

Foyer has its own privacy policy: tryfoyer.ai/privacy-policy.

What is the “Optional analytics” box?

That box comes from Foyer, too. It asks whether you want to share usage analytics. Foyer says those cover page visits, time on the site, and counts of clicks and keystrokes, but not what you type.

  • Decline turns those analytics off. The assistant still works.
  • Accept turns them on.
  • Privacy settings lets you change your mind later. It also offers a choice to be remembered between visits. That choice keeps a visitor ID and details you share for future chats. It is off unless you turn it on.

Your choice is saved in your own browser so the box does not ask again. Foyer's code keeps that choice for about six months.

What else loads from other sites?

A search tool. Each page loads a script from Nytro Systems (plugin.nytsys.com). It helps search engines read the site. It sends the address of the page you are on to Nytro and saves its data in your browser's storage. It does not set cookies, and it does not read what you type.

Our host. The site is hosted by Vercel. Like most web hosts, Vercel's servers receive basic request details, such as your IP address and browser type, when you load a page. The request logs Vercel shows us for this site are kept for one hour. Vercel may keep its own records longer, as its privacy policy explains.

Fonts. The site's fonts are served from this site. Your browser does not fetch them from Google.

Any outside server your browser contacts can see your IP address. That is how the internet works.

Does the site collect email addresses?

Not yet. The sign-up box for our checklist is not connected to an email service. If you type your email there today, it is not sent or saved. When we connect it, we will update this page to name the service and explain what we do with your email.

What choices do you have?

  • Read the site without using the assistant.
  • Decline the optional analytics.
  • Use Privacy settings in the assistant to change your choices.
  • Clear your browser's storage to remove saved choices.
